Turncoats lock horn in Begusarai’s Matihani assembly seat

Two political turncoats are fiercely contesting the Matihani assembly seat after switching parties since the 2020 elections. The incumbent MLA, who defected from LJP to JD(U), faces his 2020 rival, now running on an RJD ticket. Both candidates, belonging to the dominant Bhumihar caste, are vying for votes amidst other contenders.
