Two officials of Birsa Munda Central Jail suspended for negligence in work

Two officials at Birsa Munda Central Jail in Ranchi, including a chief jail warden and a clerk, were suspended for negligence in their duties. This action reportedly stems from allegations of extortion from visitors and compromising jail security. Show-cause notices were also issued to the jail superintendent and assistant jailer.
