Two Class 10 students, Jayesh Sahu and Mridul Banjaria, drowned in an abandoned quarry near Mana, Raipur, on Friday. The boys, who were hostel residents, reportedly ignored villagers’ warnings and entered the deep waters to bathe. A five-hour search by the SDRF failed to recover their bodies.
