Ubisoft names co-CEOs for new subsidiary to lead Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry franchises
Ubisoft has established a new subsidiary with Christophe Derennes and Charlie Guillemot as co-CEOs, aiming to transform Assassin’s Creed, Rainbow Six, and Far Cry into billion-euro franchises. Supported by Tencent’s investment, the subsidiary will focus on creating evergreen, multi-platform game ecosystems. This strategic shift grants development teams greater autonomy to build sustainable, long-term player experiences.
