Udupi: 63-year-old woman dies after being hit by speeding car; police register case against driver

A tragic accident in Kaup claimed the life of 63-year-old Shantha R. Poojary on Sunday. While crossing NH-66, she was struck by a car allegedly driven at high speed and negligently by Daniel Mathias. Despite being rushed to a private hospital in the same vehicle, she succumbed to severe head and leg injuries.
