UGC gave nod to use Mizo language on university signboards: Registrar

Mizoram University registrar Prof Lalnundanga highlighted the growing importance of the Mizo language under the National Education Policy (NEP). The UGC has directed universities to include Mizo on signboards, a shift from the previous mandate of using only Hindi and English. This change signifies increasing significance for the Mizo Department and the Mizo language.
