​UP Government reiterates Aadhaar card invalid as proof of birth date

Uttar Pradesh government has reiterated that Aadhaar cards are not acceptable as proof of date of birth in any official process. Fresh instructions were issued to all state departments, clarifying Aadhaar’s status as not an official birth certificate. This directive follows UIDAI’s confirmation that Aadhaar is inadmissible for birth date verification, aiming to standardize documentation and prevent misuse.
