US, Canada cybersecurity agencies say China-linked hackers stole login data and other sensitive information
US and Canadian cybersecurity agencies have issued a joint warning about Chinese hackers using ‘Brickstorm’ malware to gain long-term access to government and IT entities. These state-backed attackers infiltrate sensitive networks, steal credentials, and aim for persistent access, potentially enabling sabotage. The malware targets Broadcom’s VMware products. China has denied the allegations.
