US FDA extends radioactive shrimp recall: More brands added to warning list
The US Food and Drug Administration broadened its recall of frozen shrimp. This action follows the discovery of Cesium-137 contamination. The contamination originated from an Indonesian processor, PT. Bahari Makmur Sejati. The initial recall involved Great Value brand shrimp at Walmart. Now, Southwind Foods and AquaStar (USA) Corp are also recalling shrimp. Consumers should discard potentially contaminated shrimp. Read below!
