Uttar Pradesh leads nation in sugar yield & recovery despite overall decline

As per the National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories Limited (NFCSF) report released on July 30, India’s total sugar production is projected at 258.20 lakh metric tonnes (LMT), down 18.38% from 316.35 LMT in 2023–24.
