Uttarakhand HC dismisses petition challenging reservation of CDO post for IAS, PCS officers

The Uttarakhand High Court has affirmed the promotion of two officers from the training cadre to deputy commissioner, upholding a previous tribunal order. A petition challenging the state’s 2013 decision to reserve chief development officer positions for IAS and PCS cadre officers in 10 districts was dismissed.
