Vande Bharat greeted with flowers at Madhepura railway station

The Jogbani-Danapur Vande Bharat train’s inaugural run was met with enthusiastic celebrations in Madhepura with locals welcoming the new service connecting the region to Patna. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier flagged off the train from Purnia. Passengers on the first journey received free passes, expressing delight at the opportunity to ride the ‘dream train’.
