Varanasi: Balika Panchayat inaugurates under Mission Shakti 5.0

Varanasi inaugurated the Balika Panchayat (Girls’ Council) under Mission Shakti 5.0, aiming to empower girls and promote women’s active participation. This initiative, implemented across 694 gram panchayats, will see selected girls raise awareness about women’s safety laws, helplines, and government schemes. It seeks to foster leadership and digital literacy among thousands of girls.
