Nuapada byelection saw an impressive 81.72% voter turnout, largely peaceful despite EVM glitches and allegations of rigging by BJD and Congress against the ruling BJP. The counting of votes for the bypoll, necessitated by the demise of a BJD MLA, is scheduled for Friday.
