A forest officer from Kerala, G S Roshni, rescued a 16-foot king cobra from a stream. The incident occurred in the Paruthipalli Range. Roshni, part of the Rapid Response Team, carefully secured the venomous snake. She then released it into a forested area. Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar praised her bravery. Roshni has rescued over 800 snakes in her career.
