Woman Maoist killed in encounter in Bastar

In Chhattisgarh’s Bastar division, a woman Maoist was killed during an ongoing anti-Naxal operation in the forests bordering Narayanpur and Dantewada districts. Security forces, comprising the Special Task Force and District Reserve Guards, recovered the Maoist’s body along with a weapon. The encounter occurred in the Thulthuli forest, the same location as a major operation in October 2024.
