YMA declares ‘war on drugs’, addresses social, moral & governance-related issues
Mizoram’s largest civil society group, the YMA, has declared a renewed ‘war on drugs’ from 2025-2027, aiming to combat narcotics. The organization also passed resolutions on strengthening YMA principles, advocating for stricter Inner Line Permit enforcement, protecting water sources, improving roads, and addressing issues concerning non-tribal traders and inter-tribal marriages.
