Zahmingthanga from People’s Conference (PC) to contest Dampa by-election

The People’s Conference party has announced its vice-president, K Zahmingthanga, will contest the Dampa assembly bypoll, intensifying the race to a five-cornered contest. He joins candidates from ZPM, BJP, Congress, and MNF. The election, triggered by an MNF MLA’s passing, will see 20,790 voters cast their ballots on November 11.
