Zubeen’s ashes to be available as keepsake through govt portal, says minister

Following Zubeen Garg’s cremation, the Assam government will launch a portal within two days for institutions to request his ashes. Minister Ranoj Pegu announced the cultural affairs department will manage distribution and consider individual requests later. The cremation ground will be protected by Assam Police, with immediate construction of boundary walls.
