Zubeen’s ashes to be immersed in Brahmaputra respecting singer’s wish

Assam government has abandoned its initial plan to distribute Zubeen’s ashes to fans, opting instead for immersion in the Brahmaputra. Following advice from priests and respecting the singer’s wishes, the state will collaborate with his family for the sacred ritual.
