Mumbai Metro, Monorail clock 9.9 lakh riders; new lines to push daily count past 10 lakh

On August 22nd, Mumbai’s Metro and Monorail networks nearly reached a combined ridership of 10 lakh, hitting 9.9 lakh commuters. Metro Line 1 was the busiest, carrying over 5.6 lakh passengers, while Lines 2A & 7 added more than 3.3 lakh.
